Leftover produce

So, now you know how to store your produce and for how long, but some of you may have the same issue as me - you often have more produce than you can use. That bunch of asparagus you bought for last night's dinner was way more than you actually needed. What to do with the rest?

I have some help for you. Here are a couple of sites you can go to where you can plug in your leftover item (asparagus, for example) and some others you may have (cooked rice or potatoes, perhaps?) and recipe ideas will be generated:

leftoverchef.com

Now that Thanksgiving is coming up, surely we'll all be looking for things to do with that extra cranberry sauce and stuffing, right? Well, there are countless Internet sites with leftover Thanksgiving assistance. Too may to point out here. However, when the time comes, you may want to simply google "Thanksgiving Leftovers" and you'll have no trouble finding a recipe to create something delicious with whatever you have.

And, for those of you who are receiving organic food deliveries (such as Pioneer Organics) and wonder what to do with that 'mystery ' vegetable in the box, the two sites listed above may be able to help you, too.

Happy cooking everyone, and remember...be healthy, too!
